The Certificate III in Landscape Construction AHC30916 covers topics including drainage installation, landscape features, paving, retaining walls, and soft scape applications surrounding the implementation of plants to name a few. Completion of this course allows you to join a fast-growing sector and work in all classes of construction from residential, commercial, civil, government parks and gardens projects with the knowledge gained.
For those planning to get off the tools, this is your opportunity to start a small landscape construction business. Begin with small landscape construction works for your clients including delivering new turf, small paving and concrete works, and new plant areas. Then, when you’re ready, you will be able to employ staff, take on bigger jobs, and manage multiple sites.

Note: It is a mandatory requirement that participants registering for full training in AHC30916 Certificate III in Landscape Construction must be actively working in the landscape construction field as a landscaper, labourer, trade assistant, or similar throughout the duration of this program. You can be working in construction, horticulture, civil landscape, parks, garden maintenance, or similar fields.
This does not apply to participants registering for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

The AHC30916 Certificate III in Landscape Construction requires the completion of 15 units comprising of 11 core units and 4 electives.
These units of competency have been developed in consultation with industry experts along with our facilitators who draw upon real-life operational case studies and examples to ensure the knowledge you gain is practical and applicable to current industry practices.
