This nationally accredited program is designed for those seeking to develop their career and move towards an assistant driller or driller’s role on an Australian well servicing rig or project. Specifically, this qualification level (Certificate IV) was created in alignment with assistant driller, driller to senior derrickmen and night push roles. This program provides candidates with the recognition to become a certified assistant driller, driller or manager/supervisor of an operational crew with the ability to work autonomously if required.
This qualification is relevant to today’s current industry standards and reflects the skills and competencies needed to grow a successful career or business.

This program is not offered via full training, classroom or online. This program is delivered via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) only. Participants must have a minimum of 3 years of current industry experience relating to the units and subject matter.

The RII41215 Certificate IV in Well Servicing Operations requires the completion of 14 units comprising of 7 core units and 7 electives.
These units of competency have been developed in consultation with industry experts along with our facilitators who draw upon real-life operational case studies and examples to ensure the knowledge you gain is practical and applicable to your role.
Students will have up to 3 months to complete this RPL program. If the learner requires more time please see extension options in our student handbook or contact our office.
