TechSkill Academy Education Chromebook Promotional Offer Terms & Conditions

These Terms (“Terms”) govern the Chromebook promotional offer (“Offer”) provided by TechSkill Academy (“TechSkill”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They apply in addition to TechSkill’s general Enrolment Terms & Conditions and may be updated at any time.
1. Offer Eligibility
To qualify for a free Chromebook:
• The course must be sold and fulfilled by TechSkill or an authorised partner.
• The student must complete all enrolment steps (ID verification, USI submission, payment agreement, onboarding).
• Full payment must be made upfront electronically or by invoice; no action will be taken until payment is received in full.
• The Offer applies to new enrolments only and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions unless stated otherwise.
• The Offer is not available for courses with payment plans, including split payments, three-monthly, or six-monthly payments.
2. Delivery
• Dispatch occurs as soon as practicable, subject to third-party courier availability.
• Devices will not be dispatched until an official enrolment form is completed, signed, and returned to TechSkill.
• Devices ship via a third-party courier to the address provided at enrolment (Australian residential or business addresses only, excluding PO Boxes), with a signature required upon receipt.
• If the recipient is not available, the package will be returned to the depot, and a card will be left. It is the responsibility of the customer to contact and rearrange delivery. Delivery will only occur 3 times before cancellation.
• Students must keep their address current. Re-dispatch costs due to incorrect details are payable by the student.
• TechSkill is not responsible for theft, loss, or non-delivery after the device is handed to the courier. We will provide tracking information and assist with claims where possible, but disputes must be resolved directly with the courier.
• Dead-on-arrival (DOA) or transit-damage claims must be lodged with the supplier, Officeworks, not TechSkill. For all issues with transit damage or product issues call Officeworks Customer service on 1300 633 423.
• Deliveries are administered from 8am – 5pm weekdays only (no weekends).
3. Stock Availability & Offer Duration
• The Offer is available until withdrawn or stock is exhausted, whichever occurs first (first-come, first-served).
• If stock is depleted during enrolment processing (e.g., due to delayed enrolment), the student may:
o accept a comparable device of equal or greater value (if available), or
o receive a refund for the device’s cost.
• TechSkill may vary, suspend, or end the Offer at any time by posting notice on techskill.com.au and notifying students via email.
4. Ownership & Refunds
• The Chromebook becomes the student’s property after 30 days of active enrolment (maintaining LMS access and completing at least one learning module or activity) and upon signed receipt.
• If enrolment is cancelled within 30 days and the device has shipped, TechSkill will:
o deduct the device’s retail value from any refund, or
o invoice the student for that amount if no refund is due (and may require return of the device at the student’s expense).
• The device is not redeemable for cash, credit, or fee reduction.
5. Warranty & Support
• All new devices come with a standard factory one (1) year warranty.
• After this period, warranty claims must be made directly with the retailer or manufacturer; TechSkill’s role is limited to providing proof of purchase and basic guidance.

6. Limitations & Exclusions
• One device per student per enrolment. Duplicate claims may be refused.
• Multiple course enrolments may qualify for the Offer, subject to these Terms.
• TechSkill does not accept returns or exchanges except as required under Australian Consumer Law. Returns must be sent to the original point of purchase, details of which can be obtained by contacting TechSkill.
• Non-delivery claims must be lodged within 30 days of the expected delivery date via the third-party courier where applicable.
• TechSkill reserves the right to pursue unpaid invoices via debt collection or legal action.
7. Fraud, Complaints & Force Majeure
• Fraudulent activity (e.g., false enrolments, multiple claims) may result in enrolment cancellation, device recovery, and/or legal action.
• Complaints and refunds follow TechSkill’s standard feedback and appeals process.
• TechSkill is not liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, supply-chain failures).
8. Governing Law
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
9. Contact
As part of our limited-time Chromebook promotion, TechSkill Academy collects and uses your personal information provided through the enrolment form and student contract to process your course enrolment, confirm eligibility for the promotional offer, and fulfil your order.
By enrolling in a course and signing the enrolment contract, you acknowledge and agree that:
• Your personal details (such as full name, delivery address, contact number, and email) may be used to dispatch the promotional item to your nominated address.
• This information may be shared with third-party logistics and delivery providers solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
• TechSkill Academy may retain your details in accordance with its standard student record-keeping practices, in compliance with applicable privacy and education laws.
• No personal information will be sold or disclosed to unrelated third parties without your explicit consent.
