- New Brisbane Stadium at Victoria Park: A 63,000-seat stadium is planned for Victoria Park, intended to host the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as athletic events. This development replaces earlier proposals to redevelop The Gabba.
- National Aquatic Centre at Spring Hill: A new aquatic centre is slated for the Centenary Pool site, aiming to provide state-of-the-art facilities for swimming and diving events.
- RNA Showgrounds Upgrade: The Main Arena at the RNA Showgrounds will undergo signifi cant upgrades to accommodate events during the Games. Post-Games, the Athlete Village located here will be converted into permanent housing.
