Landscape Construction Career Kickstarter

The Landscape Construction Career Kickstarter program is a thoughtfully selected set of units of competency that have been taken from the nationally recognised Certificate III in Landscape Construction AHC30921. This program has been designed to kickstart students’ careers in the landscape construction industry by equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed or start their own business.

The program imparts industry-relevant skills and knowledge, such as plant selection, workplace safety, soil analysis and improvement for garden and turf areas, and cost estimation. All the units of competency included in this program are credit transferable to the Certificate III in Landscape Construction AHC30921 full qualification. This makes it an essential initial step for those aspiring to establish a thriving career in the industry.

Course Breakdown

The Landscape Construction Career Kickstarter program requires the completion of 4 units derived from the full qualification Certificate III in Landscape Construction AHC30921.

Students will have up to 6 months to complete this program. If the learner requires more time, please see extension options in our student handbook or contact our office.

These units of competency have been selected in consultation with industry experts along with our facilitators who draw upon real-life case studies and examples to ensure the knowledge you gain is practical and applicable to the industry.

Completion of this program allows graduates to receive four (4) credit transfers towards the full qualification Certificate III in Landscape Construction AHC30921.

Free RPL Assessment
This program is available through our online learning portal with full support provided by our student support team. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) can be conducted for one or all units. Speak to our team about applying for RPL. Participants applying for RPL will be required to provide 2 industry referees who can validate previous roles and experience. Blended learning options are available allowing participants to conduct a mix of both online training and recognition of prior learning (RPL).
