Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry Contractor and Nominee Supervisor QLD

Our Kitchen, Bathroom, and Laundry Contractor and Nominee Supervisor (QLD) course is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge required for a Contractor or Nominee Supervisor licence with the QBCC.

  1. Get licensed: Our course covers the necessary units of competency required by the QBCC, making you eligible for a Kitchen, Bathroom, and Laundry installation licence in Queensland.
  2. Ideal for experienced professionals: If you have experience in installing, refurbishing, restoring, and repairing kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries, completing our course and obtaining your licence will help you take on larger projects and run your own business.

Learn essential skills and knowledge: Our course covers important areas of Building and Construction, like building codes and standards, occupational health and safety, construction contracts, project costing and scheduling, material procurement, on-site project supervision, and legal requirements. These skills and knowledge will help you succeed in the industry and obtain your license.

Course Breakdown

This program requires the completion of 7 units from the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building).

Students will have up to 12 months to complete this program. If the learner requires more time, please see extension options in our student handbook or contact our office.

  • CPCCBC4004 Identify and produce estimated costs for building and construction projects
  • CPCCBC4008 Supervise site communication and administration processes for building and construction projects
  • CPCCBC4003 Select, prepare and administer a construction contract

  • CPCCBC4009 Apply legal requirements to building and construction projects

Free RPL Assessment
This course is available through our online learning portal with full support provided by our student support team. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) can be conducted for one or all units. Speak to our team about applying for RPL. (Note: participants applying for RPL will be required to provide 2 industry referees who can validate previous roles and experience) Blended learning options are available allowing participants to conduct a mix of both online training and recognition of prior learning (RPL).
