If you are currently working on an Australian well servicing rig or project, this qualification is what you need to develop your career and move towards an operator or driller’s role.
As an operator or driller in a well servicing context, your tasks involve a broad range of varied activities most of which are complex and non-routine. You are responsible for the quantity and quality of the output of others and contribute to the development of technical solutions to non-routine problems.
This nationally recognised program provides candidates with the recognition to become certified with the ability to work autonomously if required. More importantly, this qualification is relevant to today’s current industry standards and reflects the skills and competencies needed to grow a successful career within the industry.

Full training (either classroom or online) is not offered for this program.
If you have the evidence to demonstrate your existing skills and knowledge for one or more units, you can apply for recognition, technically called recognition of prior learning or skills recognition. We will conduct an initial assessment over the phone to help you determine if you are eligible. This option may reduce the need to complete formal training and assessment.

The RII41220 Certificate IV in Well Servicing Operations requires the completion of 12 units comprising of 6 core units and 6 electives.
These units of competency have been developed in consultation with industry experts along with our facilitators who draw upon real-life operational case studies and examples to ensure the knowledge you gain is practical and applicable to your role.
Students will have up to 3 months to complete this RPL program. If the learner requires more time please see extension options in our student handbook or contact our office.
